Lesson #11 The Sovereignty of God God's doctrine (teaching) of salvation. Salvation sets us free. It delivers us from the penalty and consequences of sin; from eternal death and spiritual separation of God. It provides everlasting spiritual healing, soundness and preservation as a gift of God which he grants immediately to those who accept His conditions of repentance, and confession of faith in the Lord Jesus. Focus: Read: I Chronicles 29:11-13 The Lord God is sovereign. All mighty. Ruler of all. His will be done. II Timothy 1:8-10 God's purpose and plan for the Salvation of man before the world began. Ephesians 1:3-13 The purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will. Acts 4:12 No other name, by which men may be saved. Question: Do these verses indicate God's will? His sovereign will for man's salvation? If so, why?

Scripture Assurance: I Peter 1:18-21 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers: But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Scripture Memory: Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.
